The ‘Barrier-Free City and University’ Workshop, hosted by Alanya Alaaddin Keykubat University and chaired by ALKÜ Vice Rector Prof. Dr. Oğuz Karahan, was held with the participation of representatives from public and civil society organisations in Alanya. Throughout the workshop, the willingness and determination of all the representatives to break down the barriers to participation in life were a sign of good things to come in the future. We extend our congratulations and gratitude to all the academics and administrative staff who contributed to the workshop, particularly ALKÜ Rector Prof. Dr. Kenan Ahmet Türkdoğan and ALKÜ Vice Rector Prof. Dr. Oğuz Karahan.
